Through the mighty technological age I have been able to reconnect with many old friends over the last year or so. I did not even have to leave my home in order to communicate because of the internet. That is great, but it is not as good as visiting in person. I must say that it is better than nothing. I have a very busy life and stopping to drive and just visit with a friend is not always practicle for me. So the internet and cell phone will have to do now.

This past week through the social web site “facebook”, I was able to re-connect with Jennifer (Neal) Carger. She and I practically grew up together. Our families were close friends and went to church together. She and I spent a lot of time together, as well as her brothers, and I consider her one of my closest friends of my youth. She had a profound influence on my life in ways she will never know. At a time when I was worried about myself, she often kept me grounded and even accountable for my actions. I know I often frustrated her with my behavior, but she was always a friend and that will not be forgotten. I have a lot of good memories with her and her family and it is good to know that she is doing well and has been blessed in life. Jennifer thank you for your guidance, example and friendship. I cannot thank you enough for the seeds that you planted in those early years that have been fruitful for me as an adult
